9 weeks left in training for first marathon. Calf muscle injured after long uphill portion of run at mile 4?

of 1/2 marathon so my longest run to date is 12 miles. I have rested/iced calf for a week and it is still a little tender. Is it too late to prepare for the marathon 9 weeks away? How do I keep from protect calf from futher injury?
